Sony’s Screen Gems Dates David F. Sandberg’s ‘Until Dawn’ Movie For Spring 2025
I'm surprised by the timing of the movie. I thought for sure it would be closer to being a summer release, June or July, but it'll be interesting to see the impacts of Sony's transmedia strategy on a smaller IP.
It'll hit streaming well before October, which is when I thought it would come out, but it actually makes sense to do that. It'll probably hit streaming August-September depending on how well it does, which will give people a chance to get into the movie and more people interested in streaming and buying the game in October. I think August might be a bit too early though, we'll see.
