TL DW:

  • Perfect Dark is not in development hell. Game is going through some stuff which is true for every AAA game development. It will probably be at Showcase
  • Gears 6 will probably also be there, question is the form
  • Grubb also expects id Software new game there
  • Grubb expects Sony showcase in may
  • Sucker Punch maybe working on Sly
  • Concord will probably be there
  • Same for Astro new game
  • Dragon Age Dreadwolf probably at SGF or in time around SGF
  • Game is shaping up very nicely
  • Release expected this calendar year

Jeff Grubb is a grifter he shouldn't be given any attention.

How many of his supposed rumours have actually come true?

Here's the quote:
"I'm hopeful that we'll see something from Sucker Punch that is causing Ghost of Tsushima 2 to take a little big longer than we were expecting and my hope is something with Sly Cooper. [It is] not confirmed, nothing like that, but that's speculation. But [there is] definitely smoke out there. Maybe where there's smoke there's fire. Hopefully, we'll find out."

So yeah, this is the most not confirmed thing to ever not be confirmed.

He's been moderately accurate. More lately than he used to be. Probably around 75/25, he used to be 50/50 or 25/75 the other way a few years ago

The thing is that this isn't even a leak based on his sources, this is just him saying things he wish would happen.

They can port the old games first to modern platforms to gauge interest. But infamous should have more instant appeal than a PS2 era franchise.

NOPE. NOT going through this bullshit again. These MFs did the exact same thing last year hyping up the last Showcase, and what ended up happening? Exactly.

I'm muting every single thing that comes out from them regarding PlayStation until something OFFICIAL gets announced and shown. If you're a PS gamer (whether exclusively or in addition to other platforms), do not listen to these dudes!

Are we really doing this again?

Reminder for who doesn't know it or forgot it: this is fake news, Sucker Punch already officially debunked this almost two years ago:

They said they -or any other studio- weren't working on Sly Cooper or Infamous and that there weren't plans to revisit these IPs. If since then they'd have changed their mind -I doubt it because of sales of these IPs compared to GoT- the new projects would be in early pitch/prototyping stage and wouldn't even had time to greenlight its production.

There is no new Sly Cooper (or Infamous) under development anywhere. As usual these xbox fanboy "insiders" are trying to overhype PS fans with announcements that won't happen before a showcase to make sure they get dissapointed with whatever Sony shows.

Sucker Punch needs to grow significantly with multiple teams for inFAMOUS and Sly
