Vanillaware is recruiting development staff to work on a “new fantasy action RPG,” according to a post from the company on Twitter.

The recruitment flyer attached to the post specifies that the company is looking to hire programmers, 2D animators, and background designers.
Vanillaware recently released fantasy strategy RPG Unicorn Overlord on March 8 under the publishing arm of ATLUS. The studio’s other recent releases include the adventure game 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and action RPG Dragon’s Crown, which were also published by ATLUS.

One of the few Japanese studios Sony should buy to bolster PS presence in Japan & Asia.

Vanilla Software also hates PC likely due to mods which is great for PS console & storefront as it bolster PS platform with intestine quality jrps from a first party level.

There also likely very cheap & has massive potential if they worked with existing Sony/PS ip or just kept nurturing them as they grow as a studio.

Icon eras heroes. Truly the last stand of old school archaic anti PC devs from Japan. Lets see if kamitani has to put money from his own pocket to complete the game this time.

It's their loss as PC gamers will play the game anyway.
