I feel like lots of these videos are projecting Xbox's issues on to PS. Sure PS has a few issues but it's doing great.
That's what I have seen on Twitter. Nintendo and PC peeps trying to lump PlayStation with Xbox. Hilarious if you ask me.

They're trying to spin everything as an industry problem, instead of what it is, an xbox problem.

They really resent PlayStations success, lots of them anyway.
For some reason Sony decided they should do all in their power to tank their console business.
- No excitement, they see hype as a negative thing somehow and are obsessed with secrecy.
- We get 10 negative news for every positive one.
- Closing studios and not investing enough in new ones.
- Too many GaaS
- PC. PC, PC, PC
- They act like Remakes, remasters, TV series, movies is all people need and their main priority.
- Games taking forever to be made (and don't even get announced).
They simply take all the success of PlayStation console for granted and are 100% focusing on expanding to other areas. PlayStation costumers to them are dumb suckers that can be treated worse than PC players and charged more for the same things in inferior quality even.
It's just a poorly run company, not unlike Xbox under Phil Spencer. It goes for the entire Sony company as well, they just can't generate excitement anymore regardless of the quality of their products.

Facts and instead of acknowledging that they kneecapped the consoles potential, they instead either say that it is the market / economy or that everything is good.
Both forms of denial of responsibility.
They'll never hold themselves accountable, they don't have the incentive to do that, the longer they hang around the more money they make. It would require shareholders to replace the current bean counters with more qualified people to run a tech/entertainment company.
This. They looked at everything that made the PS4 a success and decided to do the exact opposite.
It's funny, all other companies would kill to have the advantages Sony has in the gaming space but they just don't seem to the see the value in it at all, they are all about focusing on how to cut costs and have be doing that for over 5 years at this point. Probably what you get when you are run by two boring accountants.
All these companies (valued higher than Sony) fighting for scraps wanting to get people to pay subscriptions while Sony has over 100m people willing to drop $400/$500 every few years just to be able to buy their games and services. They somehow are scared to invest on PlayStation but would be willing to spend $26B on Paramount...
That is how Sony has another music label (that has close to the same market share as Sony Music) valued at half the value of the entire Sony group. Nobody takes them seriously and they are scared of success and rather not take any chances.

Jim Ryan was the driving force. Yoshida amd Totoki have only lead PlayStation for a short time. Jimbo is gone, so there is hope they will make the right steps. We will hear on Friday how PlayStation's future looks.

Another thing, they show Sony music and movie projects years in advance, even up til 2027, but PS fans don't even know whats coming in the next 6 months. PS is getting a ton of great games this generation, with several bangers every year. Not that frequently, but Switch got many too. It only has been weak for Xbox.
