We live in an age of abundance of information, there are many news sources and platforms and it can be hard to decide where is the best place to get your information.

Where is the best quality information? Who has the best commentary and insight?

Is it traditional media? The IGN's and Gamestops? PushSquare?

Is it a newer website? Like Insider Gaming etc

Is it a forum? Is it Twitter / X and which accounts on Twitter? Or maybe you get your news on Youtube? If so...which Youtubers do you value and watch regularly?

Explain below why you use these resources and who you avoid and why? How have your habbits changed over the years?

All of the above.
Gaming news these days is hard to miss no matter the platform.
If you don't see it on twitter you will see it here, If not here then more then likely from YouTube feed/subscriptions.

These days? I just come here and if there's anything new, someone will have posted it already.

Used to check GameSpot for news but since people here post even the smallest of news, I don't really go there much. I'll still browse a few gaming sites from time to time.

Don't really watch yt for news, just some gaming videos. Documentaries, reviews, collections and such.

Reset-era and Kotaku are my main choices.

I like independent, non-political/ideological sites that are not only tolerant in their views but fair in their conclusions.
Just recently visited Reset-era for the first time.

The way they celebrate Hogwarts Legacy for being a faithful adaptation from the book with good gameplay and world building, while ignoring other controversies and allowing users to discuss about the game is amazing.

What a enthusiastic game community!

in all seriousness a mixture of twitter, reddit, gaf, and here. sometimes youtube although that's more for tech review stuff as youtubers tend to be several hours slow to the story for gaming news

Twitter, GAF, This site.

Youtube is awful. So many gamers with fake outrage and click bait.

ReviewTechUSA videos keep showing up on YouTube and he has been anti-Sony lately.
