Wheres Ape Escape 4?

I love Ape Escape. For me, its the most iconic 3d platformer Sony has ever had. Moreso than Crash, moreso than Spyro, Jak, Daxter, Sly Cooper, AstroBot, Ratchet, or even Clank.

However we havent seen a new one of these games since PS2. Sure there were the weirdo PSP off shoots... but what about PS3? PS4? YOU KNOW DAMN WELL THOSE APES ARE ICONIC

Does the studio who made these gsmes even exist within Sony still?

Is this worse than me pining for a third Blinx game from Xbox?!

Seriously- Ape Escape 2 is the greatest 3d platformer ever. Where's my damn Ape Escape 4?!!

MIA, seemingly forever, like other legacy Sony IP. Japan Studio are the ones who made those games, but they were dissolved earlier this gen. Those who remained folded into Team Asobi.

So in theory, if the IP came back, it'd be through Team Asobi. But they have their own mascot, Astrobot, who I figure they'd rather work with. But if they were to do an Astrobot 3D platformer for example, I would 100% expect Ape Escape homages and themed levels/challenges in there.
