Activision is doing all the work to hide the terrible numbers during Starfield and Forza quarter 😬

Only 3% for hardware means Series S totally collapsed. They are doing more revenue with Series X even with the huge firesale discount in December.

Xbox hardware is dead, they are now just some third-party publisher making low quality games.

And dudes were hyping this up like it was going to put them ahead of Playstation.
Ahead of PlayStation because they are selling games and making money for PlayStation? Big "win" lmao.

...would be one of the slower-growing parts of Microsoft.

That's certainly a tactful way to put it. We'll see over the next year whether the Zenimax and ABK acquisitions can keep carrying Xbox. Given how many key personnel MS is laying off at the moment, I have doubts it's going to go well.

I mean, it sounds good on the surface but when you look even a tiny bit beyond that... It is a disaster, only held together by massive acquisitions that nobody else could do, for short-term boosts.

How many people will have to lose heir jobs to hold this skeleton of a business together?

And this is why they have to go multiplat so little of their growth is coming from the actual Xbox division it’s all abk and zenimax now. Only way to keep these numbers high is to keep games on other platforms because Xbox gamers aren’t buying sht and dumping everything into gamepass would kill that revenue.
