This is the second price increase for the devices following one announced back in January 2023.

Xbox Series X – 59,978 yen → 66,978 yen
Xbox Series S 1TB (Black) – 44,578 yen → 49,978 yen
Xbox Series S 512GB – 37,978 yen → 44,578 yen

Without a doubt, always out defending microsoft when its clear they are simply pulling back and ensuring whatever they sell doesnt lose more money

I remember during a TGS week when xbox was gungho about Japan, they were handing out coupons for like $100-$150 off an xbox console and sales spiked to like 25k for one week and the usual suspects like Jez, Destin and people were saying xbox was taking over Japan, only for next week to drop back to 1,000
