To say I was surprised is to say nothing.
We all know, that Wario Land 4 is a pretty good GBA platformer. We all remember Super Mario Land 3 as a great starting point for Wario. But many of us missed the game, released a year before WL4. And oh boy, it's surreal.
The product of the highest quality, with the insane puzzle variety, with the beautiful dynamic world - structured as some sort of a very unorthodox "metroidvania" with LOTS of interesting backtracking.
Wario Land 3 is my favorite Wario game now, for sure, one of the best adventure games I played for a long time, and it alone justified the NSO subscription for me.
Not without flaws (it's - at times - too harsh and a little repetitive due to penalties) - but I highly recommend it.
