Damn I’m really stupid and naive, all I want is both Sony and MS to build studios and boost creativity because everyone would win, specially us gamers. The industry would move forward and we would spend more time playing new IPs and less time arguing.

The industry is going to move forward regardless of what any single gamer wants or doesn't want. Sony and Microsoft have great studios that are releasing great games but in terms of creativity, originality and innovation, both will rarely accomplish that due to the fact that creating and developing an AAA game is far too expensive nowadays and both companies want a return on their investment so they'll play is safe far more times than not. Indies and AA are far more creative than the AAA space. Less arguing will probably never happen mainly due to the internet, forums and social media.
It's truly frightening how much power companies like this have, i mean yes they have a legion of paid-for fanboys out there and called-upon chills who run podcasts and cry on Twitter but to actually be able to pull the strings of a Governmental department, this is some next OCP Robocop level shit.
Microsoft has failed as a company to manage its own game studios for a number of years now, and instead of trying to nurture and grow talent, they come in and steal beloved games from other gamers with a bucket full of cash.
I can not believe i see people cheering for this kind of shit.
It's fucking shameful and all in the name of getting one over on another person.

Yes we as a community are too busy fighting each other so we accept anything a trillion corporation inflicts at us.
If some people want to live on an abusive relationship with a brand, that’s their choice, but cheering it while knowing it will impact negatively the majority of the gaming community is wrong.
People need to stop being selfish and wake up for the reality. This is not how a company that cares about you, me, us truly behaves/acts.

The industry is stagnant, so much that we stopped arguing about games and we are now arguing over acquisitions. Indies and AA games are not enough to push the industry forward.
We as consumers are giving approval for that, it’s the way we buy, defend and praise brands and games.

The CMA investigated the anticipated acquisition by Microsoft Corporation of Activision Blizzard, Inc.
People want to carry on playing IPs they have played for ages, decades even.
MS Is buying them. 2 publishers so far, and will carry on buying them. So the only way to stop that is for Sony to do the same thing.
Why wait for MS to buy more?
