I never understood the idea that things couldn't be fixed over there without being bought by Microsoft. The work environment needs to be massively improved without a doubt, but imo that can be done without lining Kotick and Lu Lu's pockets and giving Xbox an unfair advantage.

There's nothing to understand. The employees at ABK have been working towards unionization and better treatment for quite some time now. Despite being stonewalled by Kotick and Lulu and other execs, they've made progress and will continue to do so. The idea that MS is needed in this scenario is the same kind of rhetoric as they need to acquire ABK to "compete" - complete, disingenuous bullshit.
