Consoles APU are mostly (80%) GPU. But let’s take the paper spec… it is still too low decrease in size. That is the biggest issue why CPUs and GPUs nowdays doesn’t move in performance like in the past… the reason why CPUs started to glue cores together to advance in performance.

Big than Switch doesn't look good. But I understand the reason… chips are not going down for years already. Between 14nm and 5nm you had like 20-30% in size for the same amount of transistors… that is what is driving chips too big. Steam Deck was never portable size btw.

It is dumb metrics. If you sold more console you will stats bigger data even if they sold like 600-700k consoles to consumers they will increase these starts. Having more consoles sold and the stats lowering is just very improbably to happen.

These numbers are not right I guess… without AB is closer to -10% in revenue than -4%. Content and Service alone is down -4% without AB.

Why are you not counting Halo 5, Titanfall, Killer Instinct, Dead Rising 3 and 4, Sunset Overdrive, Forzas Motorsport 5 and 6, Forza Horizon 2 and 3, Rise of Tomb Raider etc for Xbox One? That only counting 2013 to 2016.

Since 2019 my job is full home (even in my contract)… I don’t like the hybrid way. But I understand not all jobs can allow full remote… some doesn’t even allow hybrid.

BTW. People is not ready to talk yet but Xbox made way more mistakes with Series than Xbox One (and yes I pointed that in 2020 in GAF). Xbox One launch to mid gen today looks like a champion compared with Series launch to mid gen.

Most consoles players won’t migrate to PC. The part of console users that beneficies with games being released in PC are very small (Sony already showed researches and the user bases doesn’t overlap). Most of console gamers will continue being console gamers. And a new user base for PlayStation...
