I'm predicting the Pro at $599. I don't expect it to be cheaper than the PSVR2, even though those are somewhat different platforms.

Supposedly SE has done this before. So with what they showed + two demos spanning 2+ hours, I think they are OK with doing this. It's a day 1 for me already so, yeah.

Based on one of the earlier trailers, they got quite far into where the first game wise. I wonder how many seasons they could possibly have for this. Maybe it goes into TLOU2 at some point?

I think people are sleeping on this one. Either that or GOW is going to consume everyone's money for this month. I think I'll get this and Gungrave G.O.R.E. at launch.

I guess to be fair, Sony never said to fans that there would be an annual showcase. Or did they and I missed that? Would be great to see what's beyond next year, but I'd rather see games revealed closer to their release date (i.e. 6-12 months max).

I guess it's to be expected. The way these Consoles were portrayed prior to launch sounded like alot of games were going to make the jump in terms of better framerate/fidelity. But hey, things happened and we're now stuck with cross-gen gaming for what looks to be half the generation in the...

Yeah I was initially thinking they would do a SoP deep dive like they have with previous big games. This route definitely makes sense.

Yeah, there has to be something significant to justify it. If we can see games like The Matrix demo running at that fidelity with 60fps comfortably, then I'd see it making sense.
