It's kinda to early to celebrate because some of those reviews are practically copy and pasted from their xbox review versions. Gamingtrend gave it a 9.5 on both reviews. Those scores shouldn't be doubled. If they previously reviewed on the Xbox they shouldn't be reviewing the Playstation since nothing was drastically changed all they did was add the updates it had including arcade challenge. It's looking like a under the radar Microsoft push at this point.

The resetera xbox thread really is the gift that keeps on giving. Theyre now downplaying the specs of the PS5 Pro. "I expected more" Uh huh sure you did.
If sony did make it more powerfull and it ended up being $700+ console, you can bet they'd be compalaining about the price.

The new sku thing is coincidentally so obvious in timing. Watch it be some bs revision lolask them, how stronger Xbox mid gen gonna be?
that what i say. they always complain and trying flip. they have no stance. even if it would be even more powerful with 499$ price tag, they would find to complain about anything else. it is not premium enough? light enough? or would resolve would say the same, that PS5 PRO is not powerful enough.
Reading from this post and till very end of this page. Xbots are in damn denial. Still believing that Gamepass isn't a failure, yet Gamepass growth is very, very strictly tied to Xbox console sales. No sales, no growth. And they think it is profitable all the time because Phil Spencer said that at FTC ( which was referred to a year 2022 actually when FTC asked Phil.. LOL ) Probably 2022 still worth in 2024 i guess.

Whats the qualifying criteria for a refresh to be worth it? I do wonder what goes on in the background when these decisions are being made. If you ask me they should deviate from the usual release pattern and hardware models and differentiate as much as they can. The handheld and high end...
