Sony should consider to announce and revert the PSN link enforcement every weekend.
Well, after all this, I hope a PSN account is mandatory for future games, like a future Helldivers 3 and Bungie games
Simply use the carrot method for now.
Keep it optional and reward people who link it.
For example a free skin, armour or credits etc.

I see it says 838.5K "requests sent" and 96.8K "requests waiting for response" for the day 5/5/2024. Refund requests sent in the last 24h: 761.9K.I found it. There was over 761k refund requests yesterday

So it's for all games (not Helldivers 2 in this case) and also notice they are requests, which doesn't mean they have been refunded. I can request for a certain refund and they tell me to fuck off.
I hope they start using Denuvo too. The only reason they are buying this game on PC (besides the fact that is also a good game) is because is a multiplayer game. And even then they don't want to create an account.

Yes, Sony's idea is to make it optional with an incentive: if you link your PSN account they allow you to play online multiplayer.
I'd permaban in both platforms the users who ask for a refund for a childish reason like this one when having played for dozens or hundreds of hour, and wouldn't allow them to buy again the game with this account. They'd have to play it using a different Steam and PSN account.

That's just a terrible idea all around and you would lose much more customers than you would have gained. If people knew all it took for a ridiculous license ban is asking for a refund (in the region that got scammed) then that's crazy.
