Xbots cheered for acquisitions and how only MS can help the industry and how workers are safe. Man, how Xbots can be truly dumb.

Xbox peeps are acting like spoiled brats whose dad has a huge amount of money and thinks they are untouchable and they can buy all things with money. No wonder why Xbox fandom is so messed up.

I will repeat this to the day I die, Xbots never, ever cared about the industry. They only cared about getting "free" games and winning console war arguments

It’s the MS culture infused into their fanatics. MS only cares about “killing the competition” and monopolizing industries. They don’t care about the actual product.

Exactly. When the leaked emails came out that they wanted to completely destroy the competition and Xbox fans didn't bat an eye. They never cared. And I promise you they'll still cheer for them to buy Sega. Xbox and their cult makes me sick

If there was a single decent journalist in the game industry, one of them would've already asked Phil Spencer on an interview if he feels ashamed for the poor for he has done over at Xbox for so many years.

I said it many years ago, this due has been far worse than Don Mattrik. Don Mattrick biggest mistake was trusting this lying sack of shit. 99% of the blame for Xbox being what it is today goes to Phil Spencer, it's a shame that the dude was able to make so much money while being so bad at his job.

Half of Zenimax is gone only 3 years after Microsoft acquisition.

Machine games is next after Indiana Jones. id will be safe because they are good and know how to make good games, zenimax is gaas studio so will continue to exist. Bethesda is dependent upon ES6 and how many lies Todd can get away with for that game.

I'm afraid the next one could be Ninja Theory. I don't think Microsoft is going to spend 4-5 years paying salaries for the studio to do more than make great technical feats but mediocre games that will barely move hardware and subscriptions. The only thing that could save the studio is a hypothetical port to PS5 (although not even that). I fear the same with Sony's Media Molecule.

Noooo Tango! I loved The Evil Within... Ghostwire Tokyo was pretty meh, but still amazing to get a game like that on times like these. I still have to buy Hifi Rush.

If Hellblade 2 doesn’t resurrect Xbox’ corpse NT is gone for sure.

I feel sorry for the people who lost their jobs. I think any devs from Japan would think twice getting into bed with MS. Hi-Fi Rush was sent out to die and overperformed in spite of the non promotion. MS will close companies based on their own failures, not the devs. I can't wait to see what the ashes of Tango produces, hopefully also on a Playstation platform.
Yeah, it is pity. We can shit on m$ rightfully so, but so many lost their jobs 😞

This is almost exactly what I said before in this thread:

I feel like with the time it takes to release games these days, any AAA studio won't get more than 2 chances. If 2 games flop then that studio will be unprofitable for nearly 10 years nowadays. Using someone else's money brings these caveats unfortunately
