That's why they are betting the farm on this ATVI deal. They need something like CoD day one on GP to rocket the number of subscribers. Then we get the price increase.
With 5.1B left we can at the very very least expect Sony to spend a 3rd of that on the PlayStation division by March 2024. I suspect they will spend more though.
Didn't Sony have to turn over documents related to deals the have made over the last several years and projects in the works? I wonder if what the CMA saw there played a major part in the change of heart for the CMA.
I think Take-Two would be a bad purchase for Sony as a whole. Plus their earnings are not that great and it takes them too long to release anything other than their sports titles. I thought of Namco Bandai but I read some comments a while back from the CEO and seems like they are in no way...
That actually crossed my mind but that would be a really bad move considering they don't have an alternative to point gamers to.
And not just any alternative. It would have to be an absolutely stellar game.
It would be crazy to see it happen though....lol
Well, I guess the bright side in this is we wont have to worry about MS making any other massive purchases until this ABK integration is good.
Also, they probably need the heat off of them for a little bit.
