This was from a discussion about Naughty Dog potentially wasting time and resources working on the remaster instead of something new. Not sure if there's anything true to Jordan's statement, but here's hoping.

I don't know about you, but I don't think there's anything clever about sitting with a thumb up your arse waiting two years for something; by then, it'll be old content anyway. Why should I be upset about the fact other people get to play with my leftovers?
"Oh no, my favourite platform is losing value and pointless because that game I bought and played two years ago is now available elsewhere. Company X is the scum of the Earth for not adhering to my logic."
Saying Starfield doesn't get good until after you beat the main story is like saying Spider-Man 2 doesn't get good until you beat Venom.
What they're really saying is your efforts to enjoy the main story are pointless because it's shit.
What's the bet this is actually a smaller standalone like Miles Morales? Feel like this is that "original content" project Bluepoint has been working on; they were already working fairly closely with Santa Monica on Ragnarok.
Microsoft complains about Sony using money from 3rd party sales to fund its own projects, yet still signs a contract with Sony to do exactly that anyway. Make it make sense.
