Yep, looks out of the blue. Even the trailer looks hastily put together. But then again there is Comic-Con going on in NY.
They do have often a PC port/game in Jan last few years so I assumed it would be the Days Gone remaster next to Freedom Wars but guess not.
SM2 will still have 2 holiday...
Like I said, Jim Ryan was the last barrier to PC. They couldn't wait with the news at least until past the holiday to push console sales and flex it on the Pro. Baffling decisions by these dumb execs. SM2 would sell regardless on PC after 14 months or 24, they doing it to themselves...
I did hear the devs say they might get 60fps out at a later date since it's very inconsistent. I am interested hopefully it does well and gets a Pro patch in the future.
None of my comments claimed he was head of WWS during the entire tenure just that the project was close to him based on the tweet when he was long gone. And the speculation is on the 2nd time it got rebooted during development. Hence:
I don't get the doom posting either. They have consistent time limited sales in EU one during spring/summer and the other during the holidays, the digital going for 375 considering what the Series S (1tb) and Switch Oled go for that is great value.
Appealing to the mainstream and younger crowd...
Great news despite all the people rooting for it's demise.
and in small text in the left corner ''as of 10-11-24''. So they done it in 3 days, game will have legs especially considering this came out same day as Sparking Zero and between other good rated/selling titles. Pretty certain it will...
This version on the Pro was also wo the patches that improved performance on the base version. I would reckon it has better performance based on the patches now if that applies 1 for 1.
I've posted it before multiple times on the interview with WUPS but Layden said the GAAS strategy as something to pursue as a publisher was inevitable based on metrics
Think you got me mixed up with someone else cause I didn't call you that. I'm just saying people sugar coat certain aspects in...
It's quite ironic you say this but yet are capping hard and discrediting others in their contribution to one single man cause he was the face of E3 shows you liked lmao. Andrew House & Shu Yoshida were responsible for most of the titles and deals struck with 3rd party of that era. Shawn pushed...
FF13 and 15 sold on reputation but didn't onboard new fans in 2 console cycles in addition the younger gen don't have the same nostalgia to 7's cast like the older gamers do, I do agree but there is nothing wrong with that. It garnered a lot of goodwill (in E3) for PS4 last gen. It solidified...
Multiple reasons I reckon: Different strategy with mtx for an additional revenue source on mobile. Not cannibalise their existing Destiny base on consoles and PC, they want to keep milking that until they decide a new onboarding point with a new engine for the inevitable D3. On top of that they...
There is tough competition with CoD and Fortnite etc. on mobile not sure about sci-fi ones. Won't be the casual audience, there is a ''hardcore'' for fps on mobile. Seen some crazy set-ups from Asians/Indians gaming on mobile that's the market if they want big numbers.
This came out of a strategic investment from Netease after Bungie went independent ditching Activision in 2018.
Not for me but I would say good for revenue if it succeeds and Sony's venture into mobile market. I mean Diablo mobile made billions.
Speaking off not on consoles or PC.

For a min I thought they were finally doing something and Booty got fired but yeah he got promoted lol.
Then realised it's the Rare boss which is fitting since here is 0 sign of Everwild since its announcement.
