    News Famitsu Sales: Week 43, 2024 (Oct 21 - Oct 27)

Yeah Sony would need to make another handheld to reach those numbers again. They should definitely do it. Being able to play PS1234 through cloud and download would be enough of a selling point.

    News Famitsu Sales: Week 43, 2024 (Oct 21 - Oct 27)

They only want increased revenue without realizing hardware will be lost in Japan. I don’t get it. It’s better to take a loss in revenue now and recoup it later through sales. Sales you will get by keeping the same price or dropping the price.

Sony has given up Japan with those hardware sales. Increasing the price was a stupid thing to do.

News Capcom FY25 First Half Unit Sales By Hardware: PC 54% / PS+Switch+Xbox 46%

I could never go PC. That environment is so uncomfortable gaming wise and there’s no physical media. Not too surprised at the PC percentage. It’s 100% digital only and Capcom games are popular on there.

News Arrowhead Community Boss Says Helldivers 2 On Xbox Requires Sony & Phil Spencer To ‘Duke It Out’

Current leadership at Sony would be the ones stupid enough to allow this. They don’t have the drive to market real exclusives and make PS they only place you can play their games. That Arrowhead person should not be entertaining a Sony funded and published game on Xbox.

I told you it was not broken. They removed it on purpose. https://icon-era.com/threads/player-cards-feature-broken-on-ps5-following-last-update-via-mysticryan.14559/

News Player cards feature broken on PS5 following last update - via MysticRyan

I’m not a game developer nor an expert in development. I just don’t see how activity cards takes away developer resources. It’s an optimal feature. Even if it was mandatory to use, it isn’t any more resources intensive than anything else on the UI. There’s nothing to give back.

I don’t believe activity cards used up any OS resources. In fact the cards are still there they just don’t resume anymore.

How would that be? It’s up to the developers to even use the activity cards. Which a lot didn’t. Sony didn’t mandate the use of it. They should have because when it works it’s amazing and it loads directly to you save from boot in a few seconds.

News Player cards feature broken on PS5 following last update - via MysticRyan

Don’t believe it’s broken. They removed it. Not a lot of people used the resume feature so Sony took it away. Though I don’t understand why. It doesn’t cost anything to leave a UI feature there. Even if it’s not being used. Sony has a history of stopping things they created if it’s not...

News [WashingtonPost] Lego approached PlayStation with the idea to create a "Lego Horizon" game

No, I don’t believe those super duper casuals who have mobile phones and bought Mario Run ended up buying a Switch. Those people aren’t gamers. They just play games on their phones cause it’s there and convenient. After they’re done with Mario Run they’ve went on to the next mobile game. And...

News [WashingtonPost] Lego approached PlayStation with the idea to create a "Lego Horizon" game

What type of question is this? You make things exclusive to draw people to your product. Business 101. Why people act like they don’t know how the industry works makes no sense to me. Sony should be trying to expand their console and reach kids with games like Lego. You don’t just give up and...
