Don’t believe it’s broken. They removed it.
Not a lot of people used the resume feature so Sony took it away.
Though I don’t understand why. It doesn’t cost anything to leave a UI feature there. Even if it’s not being used. Sony has a history of stopping things they created if it’s not widely being used.

How would that be? It’s up to the developers to even use the activity cards. Which a lot didn’t. Sony didn’t mandate the use of it.
They should have because when it works it’s amazing and it loads directly to you save from boot in a few seconds.
I have no idea. It was a question. Maybe they can give developers some of the UI resources for game development instead?
I don’t believe activity cards used up any OS resources.
In fact the cards are still there they just don’t resume anymore.
Ok, well you a probably more knowledgeable person when it comes to developing games. I have no experience, so I have no idea.
I’m not a game developer nor an expert in development. I just don’t see how activity cards takes away developer resources. It’s an optimal feature. Even if it was mandatory to use, it isn’t any more resources intensive than anything else on the UI.
There’s nothing to give back.

I used resume. Even from a cold boot, it would speed up the game launch. Not all games had it, but I would use it if available.
