All the while the game on PS5 sold for $20 more, don't forget it also had Physical Deluxe edition and the Collector's edition which costs more than double the base price. PC doesn't even have those for the extra revenue.
Eh that's not my point, it just released give it some time. But if it performs the same or worse than PS5 within the same timeframe (6 days from PS5 release until the sales tweet), then yes, it means it underperformed and that it hasn't met SE's expectations.
PC players boast they can wait...

Let's keep that same energy, you don't want SE to keep skipping PC, right?
The leads at Xbox are braindead fucking stupid. They keep trying to advertise gaming TO NON FUCKING GAMERS in hopes of attracting billions.
Sony's advertising on the other hand: Goes to different regions where people are ALREADY GAMING, invest in their publishers and developers to bring over...
People giving the Pro shit right now, arguably justifiable because we don't have many convincing demos of the upgrades yet, but give it a year or two when more games start performing like a high end PC with DLSS, they'll think twice before getting a $700 machine or upgrading their GPU alone for...
They had to do that to keep the file size smaller, and it's still HUGE. Also, don't forget PS5 has awesome file compression, so it could've been even bigger. This can take over 300gb on PC when modded, I don't think anybody actually wants that just to see some higher res rocks in the distance
Yep, just the sword, no characters. I imagine Asobi had a cool idea in mind to use with the FF7 crew in Astrobot but Square is just too stingy to ever let anyone feature their characters.
My first thought was Square might have disagreements with Sony over character cameos in Astrobot, but I don't think that's the issue.
Square is notoriously hard to negotiate with when it comes to their characters featuring in other games, it's also why you don't see any of their characters in...
Whether it's true or not, has anyone noticed the obsession Phil Spencer has with sabotaging PS exclusives? Sony will work tightly with a company to help develop and to create games exclusively to PS, and Phil always waits to see which ones explode in popularity to then throw money at that same...
Don't believe he meant that in bad faith, just that Switch is the home of platformers.
But Sony's goal is to create games that make you buy their console, so if you want to play those games, you go out and buy that console.
This did not work for Xbox, because their games are ass, but it works...
BG3, Wukong Enotria, Dune Awakening having issues with the Series S.
You're going to hear this a lot more until the end of this gen with games getting even beefier.
Good on Mike. We need more people with his status to call Microsoft's bullshit. Everytime they mess up, fire studios, lose money or games and hardware don't sell, they always say the word "industry". It's always the industry's fault, it's happening to the industry as a whole, and fact is that...
I hope not. Metaphor is my most anticipated game for the rest of the year and I know it's gonna slap. The Persona/SMT franchises are one of the best out there.
I just hope that when the poor pre orders/sales come through due to the crappy xbox marketing deal, Sega will be smart enough to never...
Just a reminder that the Series console shot up in price first and that was when they were not selling at all. I wouldn't worry if I were Sony.
I can also see the base PS5 dropping in price with the PS5 Pro in the market and around the time the Switch 2 will release.
