Like most list it is very subjective.

I only hit once in this one and it is with Code Veronica... most because it deserves a better audience.

It's one of the only Resident Evil games which hasn't been ported to Steam yet, so a remake would also hopefully let more people play it across consoles as well.

Yeap... that is the reason I believe it will shine with a bigger audience... it is a game that got very limited in terms of gamers that could play it.
