Never could really get into Control. Finished it once and never touched it again. Something about shooting makes it play weird.
These are really good sales for Alan Wake 2.
The first one took a lot of years to reach the same number.... it was a very cult game that didn't get on fire in terms of sales.

AW2’s budget and production costs tho… increase in costs is like exponential since then.
Same! I really tried but the shooting and overall physics / mechanics just felt so off and clunky

- Financing of the development of Control 2 is shared between Annapurna (50%) and Remedy (50%).
- Annapurna gets rights to take Control and Alan Wakeinto TV and film.
- Remedy gets a greater revenue share from Control 2sales, Annapurna from TV and film sales

How will firebreak reach 3m copies being day one launch on both ps plus and game pass?
I think that is just how much they need to get in unit terms.
Probably the $$$ they got with the Gamepass and PS++ deal are converted to units… so it decrease the number of units needed to have a 100% ROI.
For example if they got $10m from each then they have already $20m from the $30m… so just need others $10m that is like 1m units sold.
PS. I have no ideia how much they got from the deals…
