Aragami Developers Lince Works Announces Its Closure

Lince Works, the developers behind the Aragami series has taken to Twitter to announce it will be closing down this April.

The reason for the closure was said to be because “the economic context was not favorable and we ran out of time”. According to the Lince Works website, the studio employs 16 full-time developers.

Seems they'll have to fire all their 15 employees because their pubisher canned the big project they were working on, their most recent released project didn't perform as well as they expected/needed causing them loses of around half a million in the last quarter and tech investors seem to be too cautious recently due to the recent finantial crysis environment.

They prefered to shut down now the studio and keep the company alive to continue paying with the royalties of their games (which will continue alive) to the publlishers cofunded them. When possible they'll continue making games:

It's very sad because they were a very promising and talented team.
