This seems like a game you're personally hyped for, so I hope it's a great experience!
They're calling it a PvPvE extraction shooter, so I'm presuming there's some third party NPC presence. But, essentially, yes.
mostly yes, but from footage seen, there are AI enemies, but clearly, main point is PVP.
it is pity, would have loved something similar to first Division game, it was great. PVE areas, PVP areas etc..
I second this; it seems a bit yawn to me.
What was that game where they had that group of people all in a squad talking to each other on comms on a stage?
The division 2.
That set-up was cringe as hell, will all those people doing there call signs and orders lol, who the fuck plays like that.
This was six years ago. How far have we moved the needle?
I remember outriders, gonna need more than pretty graphics too shift me.

Is this one of those boring PC games where you spend 10000 hours walking and collecting items then someone comes and shoot you down and it ends ?
embark has been impressive i cant lie. the finals is a solid experience for a fresh debut you can really sense battlefield dna. great environment space. my problem is that i dont always have friends for team based focused games. i lack patience for them. but i think ill try this one out.

Ill be there for Arc Raiders and Marathon for sure, PvP games have been formulaic for awhile now so anything that spices it up is welcome.
The Finals is so excellent… I hadn’t played BF heavy since bad company 2, and it definitely hit the spot for me. my fav PvP shooter this gen hands down, winning tournaments felt amazing and the versatility in which you can strategize is quite expansive. With a team of 3 skilled team mates that communicate, magic happens
How long are you going to shill for this boring game? The entire extraction shooter genre is boring and I'm going to pass on Marathon if it's boring like this. I don't like slow paced shooters unless I'm playing a military sim like Socom.

Hunt Showdown and Vigor are on console. Hunt has a much better reputation, but Vigor is F2P. I've been playing Vigor for the past few weeks and I'm in love. It's janky and low budget but from formula standpoint, it nails it. ARC Raiders kind of looks like it plays like Vigor if Vigor was made by a talented, well funded development team. This genre is sublime.
