The e-celeb awards are always people that seemingly no-one has heard of. I wonder if they shill the nominations or something. It really is tremendously odd.

No nominations from any fighting games I believe.

The usual Dota, Pubg, Valorant, Counterstrike etc players.

Won his 5th title.

The all time GOAT of Tekken.

And unless he loses motivation and decides to retire early, he might become the all-time EVO wins champ, especially considering there is EVO Japan since 2018 and soon to be other EVO events(France in 2025 and Singapore in 2026.)

Honestly, acquiring a Visa for events is the hardest 1v1 for Arslan and other players from Pakistan.
None of them could get a visa for this year's EVO japan.
Pakistan Passport ranking is almost dead last, feelsbadman.

Arslan Ash(and the other Pakistani players) really hit the scene starting in 2018 and have cemented themselves as the best region when it comes to competitive Tekken.
I don't think there's any single other example in esports of a random region just coming out of nowhere in an established competitive game and just becoming the best.
Especially not in a franchise as old as Tekken.

It is truly a miracle.
