Not a fan of the game but cant deny its success.

I have to wonder if their next game will have nearly as much fever.
Maybe they are working on some DLC, no idea if the game ended with it being able to continue with the story but the map was massive so perhaps they can tuck a few things in here and there.

they've always shown everything on Xbox for many years prior. that's why i was shocked to see them absent from MS show this year. the deal must've come to an end.

I remember Phil Spencer announced DragonBall FighterZ and he called it 'hilarious and whacky' or some shit. I was flabberghasted. what's hilarious about dragonball?

Then he called Persona 5 Royal, 'ROYALE" with an E like how you say battle-royale, when he announced the Persona ports.

he really knows nothing about Japanese games... it's sad.

Scarlet Nexus def had a marketing deal with xbox, they even released a timed demo on xbox a week or two earlier than playstation. For a long time there was almost nothing in their marketing pointing to playstation.

I was just saying it felt like it underperformed at bit selling a million units. I feel like the gamepass deal probably killed some of its legs a little, but probably not much, game just didn’t grab a hold of people like Tales of Arise did that year. This is what im referring to.

Elden Ring - 13.4 million as of March 2022
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 - 10.7 million as of February 2022
Dark Souls III - 10 million as of May 2020
Tekken 7 - 9 million as of June 2022
Dragonball FighterZ - 8 million as of November 2021
Dragonball Xenoverse 2 - 8 million as of November 2021
Dragonball Z Kakarot - 4.5 million as of December 2021
Ace Combat 7 - 3 million as of August 2021
Little Nightmares - 3 million as of September 2021
Project CARS - 2 million as of October 2016
Soul Calibur VI - 2 million as of July 2021
Little Nightmares II - 2 million as of August 2021
Naruto to Boruto Shinobi Striker - 2 million as of September 2021
Code Vein - 2 million as of September 2021
Tales of Berseria - 2 million as of September 2021
Tales of Arise - 2 million as of April 2022
One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 - 2 million as of August 2022
Tales of Zestiria - Between 1.3-1.7 million as of March 2021
Tales of Vesperia: D.E. - 1.5 million as of September 2021
Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum'n'Fun - 1 million as of July 2020
Man of Medan - 1 million as of August 2020
Scarlet Nexus - 1 million as of April 2022
Interesting to see all these sales numbers. Really impressive amount of million sellers, Bandai Namco is a gaming powerhouse.

I only would ask them to bring back Ridge Racer in a remake that would put together all the content from the series with modern visuals but keeping the art style of the series and the gameplay feel from the PSP & Vita games.

Outside a handful cases where they get moneyhatted by Sony or Nintendo, I assume all the other devs who don't release on Xbox it's because they know that the market share of Xbox for games like theirs is tiny and consider that the effort isn't worth it.

Yeah, not just a gaming company either, a multimedia/industry powerhouse in japan. Toys and figurines, anime & manga, etc. i think they’re one of the biggest media companies in Japan right now next to sony

Well, they are the top 2 toys company in the world after Lego (a few years ago were top 1). They must be top 1 for figurines, statues, etc.
Regarding anime and manga, they get manga and anime licences to make videogames, figurines and toys, I think they don't make anime or manga. They also have arcades/amusement centers like many top Japanese 3rd party publishers.
