Only Wrath of the Machine hasn’t been remastered. You can still play D1 so native port for consoles and pc would be neat but … I wouldn’t play it. Novelty at best.

Old campaigns should be remastered in some director’s cut version and parsed out of the live game as separate downloads.

But the evolution of the game leaves that stuff behind and you’d constantly be curating content and they’re due for a massive vaulting of expansion content not endgame. Their time is best invested elsewhere.

For an online team shooter? For who? How about working on bringing back the content cut from the current game. hahaha

Remake?! Wouldn't a remake essentially be a re-release using the very same engine as the original and 2?! lol

A "classic" version is the only thing that makes sense here. Especially when it comes time for the 2nd game, since they pulled all the stupidity with cutting out core original content.

Something that would be cool would be to refresh Destiny 2 visuals upgrading its engine, and keep adding (and not removing) tweaked all the previous Destiny 1 and 2 campaign stuff to Destiny 2, to play it with whatever Destiny 2 character you have.

And well, to rebrand Destiny 2 to something else like Destiny: Space Odyssey or something like that. To replace the 2 with a subtitle in order to use it as both Destiny 2, Destiny 1 and Destiny 3.

Take it from someone who put 1000+ hours into Destiny. This is stupid.
Just add the campaign, weapons, raids and main strikes to Destiny 2 like how it should have been

I have seen a total of zero people claiming to want this in every gaming-related or tangentially-gaming-related community that I visit.

Odds are this is just dumb executives playing the safe card and blowing up money again, because they refused to listen to what went wrong with Concord and later Destiny 2 DLCs.
