I was just as shocked when I heard GTA 6 was being worked on

A single player game would be interesting though unlikely

They are working on multiple new IPs, but Destiny is super successful IP, its getting a tv/movie adaptation and since Sony bought it, Sony will want to milk it with more games somewhere in the future for the next gen.
