I am open to place bets. I remember people being overconfident that Concord will be a big success. It's not given that Bungie will be successful this time. I say it will be a disaster. Hopefully it does so Sony can sell this plague called Bungie.

Im not betting it will be success, nothing is certain. Especially with gaming media, fans and shill naratives these days in gaming.

It will be astonishing seeing PS not take Bungie under PS studios & making Marathon this big hyped up Bungie next multiplayer hit exclusively on PS consoles for it to just miss fire & really make that acquisition a whole disaster. Even thoe Sega has its own problem Sonic been on fire w annualized release that easily sell 1+ million w a small budget & Sonic cross media being a massive success atleast Sega would lockdown Sonic, Persona, Yakuza & more exclusive to PS allowing them to compete better & have a better release cadence w PS studios output

Marathon has to perform massively since it’s on Xbox, Xbox is literally a dying a platform & releasing a multiplayer game where the fans of Xbox are migrating to PC & other consoles. When in reality Marathon should release on PS & PC & be pushed as the next big hit by Bungie exclusively on PS consoles. Seeing how PS is selling PS needs more exclusive or they will lack behind PS4 by over 5+ million which would be very scary because investors which they already have been doing further question why PS leadership has continue to suppress, harm & diminish PS hardware, storefront & its own ecosystem for small growth on PC that brings less then 5% sells, negative fiasco type pr & PS gamers just migrating to PC, Steamdeck or Nintendo. These PC ports only bring high profits because the cost is low but the sells brought from PC don’t outweigh the negative effects GOW ragnarok selling 100K-200K max (don’t even count the double dip & people getting them in big discount from keys while splitting w direct competitor & bolstering competitors)
