Joke post? It's been outselling Dragons Dogma 2 for a few weeks now on PSN, Gamestop.com, and Amazon. Dragons Dogma 2 is at 3 million sales, Rise of the Ronin cant be too far behind that. And dare I say, it will surpass DD2 shortly if not already.

Dragon's Dogma was multiplatform. There is no way Rise of the Ronin is anywhere close to 3 million units.

Marathon was scheduled to late 2024 CY.
Jason said it was delayed to 2025 CY.

I believe him... but CY2025 can be FY2024... a delay from late 2024 to early 2025 is not uncalled in PlayStation's studios.

Helldivers 2 did had success releasing in early 2024 (FY2023).

Dragon's Dogma was multiplatform. There is no way Rise of the Ronin is anywhere close to 3 million units.

Both Nioh games sold around 2 million within a month so I'd say there's a good chance Rise is close to 3 million

I don't think it did. But the price is holding it back. I'm definitely not buying it at $70. I know it's on sale now for $50 which I may just bite at.

But they can still push the game, they are just doing a terrible job this generation with price promos. They have to ease people into it, can't pull a Nintendo overnight..

Ignoring that they said it's going to release in 2025, they also said they weren't expecting operating margin from Bungie in this fiscal year and that while they're releasing Final Shape, they aren't releasing Marathon.
