Also Capcom: You thought we were going to ignore the Xbox again?……Well you would be correct.
They announced the Marvel vc Capcom Fighting Collection few months ago... released in 2024.
That is one is the 2nd Capcom Fighting Collection... releases in 2025.
Each collection has it own set of games.

I knew they were working on Power Stone due to the leak, but I thought it was going to be a remake. But hey, at least we have it back.
Regarging Capcom vs SNK, I'd have done a dedicated collection to also include the original one and the SNK vs Capcom games, both the fighting one and both Pokemon-like ones.
This would have kept room to include in this one Rival Schools 1 and Star Gladiator 1. But hey, at least we got a several great games more back.

No, this is the "Capcom Fighting Collection 2". There was the first one announced before, in addition to several other fighting game compilations:

Xbox Division needs to get the finger out. Not good enough that games that can run on a Ouya can't get ported to Xbox. People who bought the machine shouldn't lose out on old multiplatform games.
I think the reason why they didn’t do a dedicated collection for Capcom vs SNK is because they didn’t think those games could sell on its own. So they decided to make a bigger collection.
The “Xbox issue” is actually not enough consoles sold and welfarepass having killed software sales on Xbox. So it’s never happening without a handout from Phil.
Collection 2 is a banger. I kinda want to buy all of these but in definitely in for CvS2. Love that game.
