Dragon's Dogma 2What did they release this year? Anything?
It includes physical that is 6% from the 46%.
So for Capcom digital rate on consoles is like 87%.
The PC gaming sector has boomed significantly in recent years. Even I'm considering canceling my PS5 Pro order and building a PC instead, as I just haven't felt well-treated as a PlayStation player lately. I genuinely lack confidence in PlayStation's future. If the PS6 doesn't succeed, PlayStation players will bear the brunt of Sony's fallout. In contrast to Microsoft, Sony won't have the billions in reserve to bail itself out.
In terms of store discounts and overall support for Capcom games, PC and PS are comparable.
Not sure what you are even trying to say...No. The 6% is their total physical sales. 54 + 40 + 6 = 100.
The 6% physical is 6% of their total software sales altogether, of digital + physical. So physical is more like 15% of Capcom's total console sales.
FWIW, most of Capcom's games haven't released on Switch. If they had, the ratio for console would probably lead slightly over PC. That's a situation I'm sure Capcom will like to remedy with significantly stronger Switch 2 support.
No lies detected.
That would suggest that total revenue could favor PC (Steam) over the consoles, then, considering unit volume already favors that platform.
The times, they are a'changin...
They do and it does boost sales. This point is interesting VVVI'm not saying PC sales mostly consist of cheap bundles but i bet it helps. Capcom does a lot of those on Steam and Humble Bundle.
It's true, console users get fucked on prices as they rarely, if ever, see decent sales.Capcom games are cheaper on PC, at least outside of the US. Sales are much better there too. Consoles users get fucked on this front with pretty much every publisher. Launch sales are the only place where consoles win
Dragon's Dogma 2
Dragon's Dogma is probably included because it is already old.I can see how that might skew pc
As someone who's been a PC gamer for over two decades, I'm a bit biased. However, I've always been very happy. The PC gaming sector has boomed significantly in recent years. Steam's started doing introductory 10% discounts at launch which have started even leveling the playing field on that front.Capcom games are cheaper on PC, at least outside of the US. sony sells more than just video games and consoles, sony has money elsewhere to hold them together in much the same wayIn contrast to Microsoft, Sony won't have the billions in reserve to bail itself out.
It's easy to support a publisher who releases GOTY contender games on a console you already own.Genuinely impressed the PC community has been so good to Capcom.
They *are* consistently releasing bangers and good ports though.

I think this year had less sales from big releases… Dragon Dogma 2 sold well in the previous quarter but this one it probably sold way less than what they had last year for the same quarter (SFVI released in June). No revenue makes this meaningless. They also sold fewer units this year than last across the board, so PC got a larger piece of a smaller pie.
Make your bed with PC dogs and you'll have to lie in it, Capcom.
