It was obvious.
I have no ideia why people thought PC was the best selling platform for Capcom lol

Said that Capcom still sell a lot of cheap old games on PC.

I thought that PCs brought in the most revenue for Capcom based on all the buzz I've seen recently. It's shocking to find out that they're actually in last place!

Get your ass in here @RE4-City and KNEEL before your PlayStation overlords
Thats for physical games so of course pc is in last as only a few countries have physical pc capcom games. So why don't you sit your ass down and start playing capcom games on the best place possible which is PC.

We don't usually get single publisher fanboys (EA, Ubisoft, T2) but here we get an unbearable PC + Capcom fanboy that shits on Playstation. It's like a 2 for 1.

That whole account is so bizzare 🤣
You don't understand why I'm a fan of a publisher who makes great games? It's you Sony fanboys who are the weird ones. You literally want your games to fail when they come to PC and complain endlessly when your exclusive games like Rise of The Ronin don't hit like Dragon's Dogma 2.
You sure?

@Bryank75

Can we get a confirmation on this?
Do you really think over 50% of capcoms revenue comes drom 44k PC sales. That would mean the 4 million physical playstation sales must of sold for like a penny. Of course PC sales are going to look bad when you only look of physical which is what everyone here is ignoring.
Here is last year's report all in English showing how much of Capcom's Games sell digitally (Moat of which are on PC):

You guys are only looking at the physical sales because the rest of this is in Japanese.

the vast majority of Capcom games are sold digitally where it's probably best on PC.
Do you really think Capcom only sold 44k PC games since 2017 but Monster Hunter World can peak at 131,000 people on steam in January of this year?

that is because based on this past quarter it does:

It's typical Sony once again. They are now irrelevant in the smartphone and TV sectors, and having reacted too late, they do not have their own streaming service like Netflix. Soon gaming will fall victim to the same fate.
Sony should’ve acquired Square back in 2020 when MS bought Zenimax & when MS bought ABK Sony should’ve bought Capcom or Kadokawa/Fromsoft & Arc System Work to cover bases.

It’s clear PS studios are about to implode just look at Guerilla games. They made PC ports that bomb & been declining per each release & Lego Horizon like the Horizon remake bomb if the Horizon Monster Hunter game flops not only is Horzion as a franchise dead but PS in multiplayer & on PC is dead people will just not trust PS. And with Guerilla games not having a separate team working on Horizon 3 or even looking at Killzone as a smaller more safer singleplayer game that would resonate w PS fan Guerilla games have no safety line Horizon 3 is like 10 years away when Horizon monster Hunter release in 2025 will have to wait like 5 years because Guerilla will be all hands on deck unless Sony pulls another concord & guerilla moves on from a disaster.

PS doesn’t have the studios to keep up in output, PS doesn’t have the talent to make games (mainly multilayer) to expand on PS, PC & Mobile, PS doesn’t have ip like Nintendo or MS nor the money of bigger fish to consolidate & unlike other 3rd party publishers PS doesn’t have output, studios or ip to even compete in publishing, subscription or platform which they seem to want to do even thoe Xbox has imploded & PS doesn’t have the needs even take that route & make it a great business

Oh hell no. Capcom is the most successful they have ever been and one of the few companies to keep their covid gains up to this day as they are on a 7 year streak of record breaking profits.

Sony would of split capcom's dev teams to work on ps5 and psvr 2 and when their psvr 2 games bombed they would of closed that part of Capcom. Sony and microsoft should never be allowed to by a studio anymore when they are shutting down their own left and right. I don't even want to see Nintendo start purchasing studios. Just focus on what you have and grow.

Yeah, I think that Capcom is pretty in the zone right now. I'm happy with what they've been putting out lately. I hope we see something from them at The Game Awards this year.

I would like to see Nintendo acquire Platinum Games as in my mind, they're a perfect fit for Nintendo especially since their games are not graphics/tech heavy and are usually pretty great nonetheless.

Capcom has been on a fucking tear since Resident Evil 7 in January 2017 and with their next title Monster Hunter Wilds releasing in three months, it looks like they will be continuing that yearly streak.
