Stellar Blade did incredibly well, Sony need to listen and embrace what demand is there.

They need to understand that Playstation is and always has been a platform for adults as well as other age groups.

There is no need to censor anything. It's up to parents to protect their children using the parental options on the console.

BTW it debut killed the franchise because Prototype sold 600k at retail in debut NPD... Prototype 2 was a big flop.

Yeah, I liked Prototype 1 much more than 2.

Funny how he failed to point out it had one week of sales.

He really had to tweet something to take away from the game huh? Funny how he failed to point out it had one week of sales.
People were celebrating Stellar Blade at number 1 and now the narrative completely changed after his tweet. The sales are low and he had to pull a random stat from a decade ago to prove it 🤦‍♂️

Did buddy ever downplay starfields sales compared to Skyrim?
Never. After the acquisition, none of their games were compared to previous games. Even Chris Dring used some weird metric he never used before or since to celebrate the initial sales.

PS5 : ~250K
NSW : ~140K
X/S : ~100K
@Welfare estimates, which means X/S is about 20% too high. Sub 100k is just awful for Xbox in its strongest market, and considering the USA is about 60-70% of Xbox sales, it's barely over 100k units sold globally for the month. Def under a mil for the first 4 months of the year. Might creep to 2mil before they pull the plug this Christmas.
