I’m expecting more expansions or Destiny 3.0 in the future.

I’m expecting more expansions or Destiny 3.0 in the future.

They did give us an ending and closed a major story arc. They’re also moving forward with the story.

The raid itself also addressed some “creation” lore for the universe establishing the existence of the Winnower and Gardener as gods still existing. So the wider story is still there. But they wrapped up the last decade as neatly as they could.

Assumption is no expansion next year. Read leak/rumor of 10th anniversary DLC for next year and that next saga starts in 2026. Whether that’s a new game or expansion is unknown what form it will take.
