Loving this series. I'm wondering what is next, Xbox One the 1080p dream? Series S the 1440p dream?

Pretty weak series from John. Just doesn’t have sound foundations. Merely a nostalgia trip through the ps3 library.

GT5 was close to native 1080p which is quite insane for back then standards (most AAA were 720p), some other games achieved 1080 during some sequences most cinematics, like MGS4 and FF13.

ridge racer 7 is still one of my favorite racing games ever. probably #1 or #2 after Ridge Racer 1 or 2 on PSP. That's the one coming to PS5 via back compat soon.

RR7, for a PS3 launch game, still holds up. it's beautiful, full 1080p and looks a generation ahead of everything else. That game owns so hard.
