PC fanboys coping. Lol
There's always a tweet.
The PS5 Pro has a lot of people across the industry absolutely shook, including some PS5 fans who can't afford it and feel like they're becoming second class citizens. The problem is if they want to go to PC and get better performance, they have to spend even more and can't afford that either.
We're nearly a month away from a paradigm shift in gaming, not just console gaming.
Because of AMD, consoles had been 6 years behind PC on machine learning, which is pretty wild. As of November 7th, only a sliver of PCMR is going to have a more performative device than the PS5 Pro and will have paid significantly more to get there.
I get the hate, but this is actually a pretty good thing for gaming. PSSR is going to be the backbone of the PS Handheld and the PS6. The hardware race now is to build a better machine learning architecture.
I also think the narrative around the PS5 Pro is going to change drastically when two things happen.
1) The Switch 2 price is announced
2) The PS5 family gets its first price cut (After GTA6 sales wear off)
