That's not entirely fair. They did force bethesda to delay the game for a year to bugfix. Imagine if they had released last november.
They didn't force anything to be delayed.

One thing they forced, is to release and introduce the game last year with release date when the game wasn't even finished.
The are clout chasers not creators.

Personally, I think it looks wonderful. But the 30fps is a deal breaker.

The apologising is through the roof. Games of the same ambition ran at 30 frames per second already on last gen. The new CPUs should be able to afford a 60 with even a bigger scope. It’s fundamentally a lack of optimisation in a creaky engine.
Possibly it is because of Series S and feature parity.

If the gap between xss and xsx was too large, then those suggesting that the series s is an anchor would be vindicated, drastically lowering the value proposition of the series S

Or maybe both Series consoles have an issue with throughput/bottlenecks and this was indeed a creative choice.

No way this ll stay 30. In action it goes down to 20. That shooting looked choopy.

Cant wait for release and full analysis.
