Microsoft offers them a false sense of security and comfort with gamepass. 120$ a year to have them tell you what to play.
Microsoft wants control over every aspect of your life and continuously makes plays to do so. Your body. The media it owns. What you play. There is no end. They are the most heinous piece of shit company on the planet. I will not go into this further.
I will not be surprised to see gamepass tethered to some government welfare program for high speed internet.
I used the forespoken example as a game paid to be excluded to the xbox fanbase, can you dispute that?

GamePass is expensive and bad for you and how games get funded\published. Obviously you can be selective and say that dev x said otherwise.
GP offers less than Sony's equivalent (I have neither) and you need to pay again to play online. That and MS has delivered nothing of interest on their day and date AAA scheme, they even managed to charge extra for people to gain access to "pre release" games, so the day and date has become a blatant lie if you want to take them to their word.
Add to this xbox's abysmal track record for AAA games in the last 10+ years and it's pretty clear that there is no reason to praise these people.
As for their interactions with "the community", these specific people are pretty bad as far as console warriors go, you can't be with them, encourage them, etc. and then turn around to say you want to bring gamers together.
Looking at the replies in this thread, you and I both know the answer Bryan. Folks like to complain about xyz with faux outrage more than the actual act of playing games.
