I never played Dragon Age 2 at all and while I was interested in Inquisition, The Witcher 3 was six months or so later and I wasn't going to play both so I decided to just wait for The Witcher 3 which ended up being my PS4/XBO game of the generation which also made me a huge fan of CDPR.
As for Veilguard, im expecting mid-80's come Monday since that's when the review embargo lifts. I'm expecting the majority of who I follow on Twitter/YouTube to really like the game which is good because that will increase the chances that I like it since my tastes align with theirs most of the time. I'm into the art style and visuals, the combat/gameplay looks great and seems to have a lot of build diversity as the skill trees are huge and the story/characters seem interesting. Your choices also seem to impact the game, story and characters.
I will be playing as a Rogue with a custom difficulty and custom HUD. Love all the accessibility options in the game as every game should have all this stuff. I get so annoyed when games restrict you from turning off the damage numbers, enemy detection arrows, etc. It's like let me play the game the way I want to.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will also be the first game I play on my new Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Edition that I bought last week and since I will be trading in the launch Xbox Series X that I have, I decided to also trade in the PlayStation 5 launch model and buy the PlayStation 5 Pro in two weeks. Super hyped!!!
