The longest funeral procession in human history
Because I want to be head to the industry get better instead to kill new and innovative games from the go.

I understood by the worst way possible that I can’t ignore anymore.

Because weirdos are killing the game industry.

Concord is a game that should have it place but people didn’t even give the change to try it… and you can see these that give chance like it.

The push of narrative to cancel a game is something that could not happen in any industry.

They have less influence than people sometimes credit them for.

The average gamer will never see their opinions on enthusiast forums like this one, nor bother to read reviews.
I believed it before Concord case but the reality that influencers on social media has the industry in their hands.

If they push the narrative the game is bad from the begin people won’t even give a chance to it… and Concord narrative started when they first showed the logo.

It was the games media and YouTube grifters and bad actors that did the damage to Concord. Unfortunately we are in an age where individuals are seeking validation for their own opinions or just to be part of the hive mind.

Sony in the end and whomever was responsible for the marketing and rollout at FireWalk set this game up to fail as well.

It was just a perfect storm of resentment from PS fans too.

Even here in Icon-era before release if you said anything good about Concord you get tons of reply saying the game was trash for whatever reason… sometimes without any reason at all.

Sad.

My fear is that it not become a isolated game case but happens with more games in the future.

You don't gotta tell me. That's what caused the fallout with me and so many members here which I'm now finding out I'm a "laughing stock to them" - sorry I had to 🤣

But yes, I wasn't against the game and would push back on in defense of the game and suddenly I was being Harassed leading up to the game by a few here.

It's gonna keep happening stay tuned for "FairGame$"... I can only hope Sony is more prepared to handle the fallout this time. I'm sure the Concord backlash caught them off guard. They should learn

Reviews mostly said the gameplay was good.
That's why reviews are mostly meaningless for multiplayer games.

"Watch what they do, not what they say."

The abysmal player retention from PAYING customers tells you all you need to know.

There are 853 reviews on Steam.
593 positive.
264 negative.

Imagine if the loud hater guys didn’t rate it bad to make a point social media.

The drop in Steam were because they couldn’t find games because people where not even giving a chance to the game.

If people that loved the game will drop it if you had 5 minutes queues like you had on PC.
That's actually a pretty terrible ratio of like to dislike, especially in such a competitive genre.

All you need to look at is the retention rate of paying customers. That way you're selecting only the population of players who didn't view the game as woke trash.

Paying customers dropped the game like a bad habit after one week. To go from 780 CCU to 230 CCU in 7 days is atrocious and speaks to the games quality.
