Regardless of who they hire, I feel like it's an impossible position to succeed in at Disney right now with some of the macro industry pressure they're facing right now.

Disney's a ticking time bomb. I bet most of the good CEO candidates (i.e. the ones in a comfortable position with a really good track record) are going to accept the job.
Especially with the company's history of Bob Iger randomly deciding to come back from retirement and kick his successor to the curb.

I saw Wish in theaters, which was a rather disappointing entry to their portfolio of animated films.

He would absolutely fail there. But last I checked Disney had three strong internal candidates so where is this all coming from?

I never thought a worse alternative than Iger could exist, but it looks like there still is creativity left in The House of Mouse. Impressive.

I went to the Disneyland in Hong Kong in 18, not much into their modern animated movies. I despise hollywood celebs so not into the marvel movies too. They dont make films like Wall-E anymore so nothing of value is lost sadly.
