So they were up 81% in UK for the year but down in May and in Europe they were up 81% in May. I guess something was wrong with the stock in UK for that particular month.

Xbox down again after the "shortages" last year. These server blades are really taking all the stock 😒

TOTK was why they were down in May.

Why only in the UK?
I believe may last year was a month where they send quite a lot of stock all of a sudden. Considering the UK and US got almost all of the stock I’m assuming they did pretty good numbers in 2022. Totk and a slow month for PlayStation in may it’s normal. Especially after a 3 month record. March alone had 2m units sold WW. Those are pretty decent holiday numbers

Man after the doom in UK... what people say now? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

UK situation happened probably for some circunstances like last year Sony shipped a lot in UK and less to EU in May and this year they shipped less to UK and more to EU.

Anyway EU being 81% up is way more impressive than these less than 30-40k units being down in UK.
EU move over 500k units per non-holiday month... UK moves well below 50k in non-holiday month.

Can you understand?

Xbox is not being considered as a viable alternative and given a chance because it's not and hasn't been for 7-8 years straight.

The U.S hasn't caught up yet with the same speed but obviously the home market gives them some home cooking passes... although fewer and fewer passes are given after each fuck up. That a 1080p box makes the majority of the sales of Xbox hardware in 2023 says it all really. There is only one Nintendo, and they hop between wild success and total flops.

The series has been getting absolutely smoked by the PS5 on the US for sometime now as well.

It's the cost of being the market leader for cloud.

Possibly the Xbox install base is too small to launch Starfield into. Skyrim was such a megahit, Xbox can't even reach that many people.

No it doesn’t. It says 81% YOY.
For May.

"sales for PS5 are up 81% compared with May 2022."

It is very simple... can't you understand?
UK is down YoY in May.
EU is up YoY in May.

EU numbers are way bigger than UK that basically counter any down in UK in May.
The chances to be UP in May worldwide is basically a given with 81% up in EU alone.
There is only a slim chance if US is heavy down to the point that counters the up in EU.

What TTK has to do with that? Nothing... unless you think TTK made PS5 be down in UK and up in EU for may :ROFLMAO:
