Remasters also lead to improved assets and engine upgrades that are most likely an integral part of the online game’s development… but ND has been doing nothing all this time right?? Depends which doomer dumbass you ask.

The horde mode roguelike stuff however does seem like something fitting for an online game. That could be an introduction of what to expect. I don’t think that’s just something cut from a scrapped pve game… it could be but there’s nothing indicating the game was scrapped.
