And? Please point me to the console that can play these games not called Playstation? These games count whether you like it or not. They used their own money to market these games, which is a substantial component of getting these games shipped in the first place. Microsoft owns a lot of IP but they are not exclusive, do those games count, because if you think so, sorry but I believe you have the IQ of a kitten.

You're essentially dismissing the entire PS2 generation of third party exclusives with this take.

Look, I get your a fanboy, but a fact is a fact. They can't be sony games because Sony does not own them. You can't say something is yours, unless you own it.

Not a fanboy. I only game on console which includes Sony and Nintendo. I'm looking at this as a consumer, not from the business perspective of who owns what. because quite frankly, none of that means shit to me. As of right now, if you want to play Rebirth, that can only happen on a PS5, sony owned IP or not. If you look at PS5 output, these games are included.

"needs to be first party" is a narrative that only helps MS look good, because they happen of bought 80 billion dollars worth of IP in the past 4 years.

Persona 5 wasn’t even the best JRPG of its generation. I’m saying that as a massive Shin Megami Tensei fan. Rebirth is better than P5.

Personally, I believe that Sony has had a great first half of 2024. Helldivers II is a great game, MLB The Show 24 (multi-platform) is a great sports/live service game for them, Rise of the Ronin is also great game even though I don't believe that it's anywhere close to the level of Ghost of Tsushima but I love Tsushima and the sequel is my most anticipated sequel period and it hasn't even been announced and revealed yet. And then Stellar Blade appears to be a great game which is also a new IP from a development studio making their first console game. Add in third party console exclusives like Granblue Fantasy Relink, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Pacific Drive and The Rising Tide expansion for Final Fantasy XVI. Overall, you have one hell of a stacked first half of 2024.

Won't speak for anyone else but I have no complaints and have been very happy. 😂

If it's not Sony, the only other option in my opinion would be Sega/Atlus. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Unicorn Overlord and Persona 3 Reload with Shin Megami Tensei 5, Metaphor and possibly the Sonic/Shadow game.
