Sorry for the typo I can't change it 😅

The trailer is amazing with so much detail. Gold Saucer and Minigames are back!

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second title in the ongoing Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, now has a release date. Revealed as PlayStation's September State of Play, the highly anticipated RPG is now scheduled to release February 29, 2024.

Square Enix announced the release date alongside a trailer filled with characters, locations, and minigames players of the original game will be very familiar, such as Cait Sith, Vincent Valentine, Kalm, Junon, The Golden Saucer, and more. It also confirmed the game will feature Chocobo racing, Chocobo breeding, and showdowns against the series' iconic Weapons.

Based on the footage we've seen so far, Rebirth appears to pick off directly where Remake ended, with Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, and Red XIII headed towards the small town of Kalm. However, Square Enix has not yet stated approximately where in the original storyline the game might end, but did announce it will take around 100 hours to complete.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is slated to release exclusively on PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024.

That was a pretty epic trailer. Showed off a lot to where it seems to be a huge game and visually impressive. Hmm … as someone who’s disappointed in ff16 this like real next gen ff tbh.

Seems Square Enix is getting less happy with exclusivity (Almost two years for FF7 Remake, six months for FF16, three months for FF7 Rebirth).

Maybe they are simply asking for more each time and Sony said no.

Nintendo drones, green rats, and PC mustard beggars are all speculating about this supposed 3 months timed exclusivity meaning it will be on any one of those platforms in that time frame.

lmao.

Those dates are kinda meaningless because FF7R never came to other consoles for over 3 years.

Day 1 for me but Sony dropped the ball with only 3 month exclusivity.

Do you honestly believe it will be on other platforms in 3 months? Come on now.

If that was the case Square Enix might as well of announced them already.

Either it’s a mistake and it’s actually 2025 or just like FF7R it just means it’s up to Square Enix if they want to bring it wherever else. FF7R didn’t even go to PC in a year and that’s how long the contract was.
