Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy Remastered maybe coming to PC(and probably Consoles too)

Not sure what to make of this news.

Hated the main game of the trilogy. Loved 13-2 and never played Lightning returns for some reason.

What am I missing?

I still don't get why people hated 13, not every game has to be some bloated open world.

It had great gameplay,combat,graphics,Music,story and top of the line graphics that still look good even today

Other than FF15 no Final Fantasy has been open world.

It just wasn’t a good game . Neither was FF15.

Open world or linear is not the only issue.

Both games reviewed mostly positively, just because you personally didn't like it doesnt mean it wasn't a good game.

Most steam reviews for both games are also positive.

These games have a very loud but small minority of haters

I never played XIII but XV was damn good, just flawed (XVI is pretty flawed as well and still very enjoyable).

I've only played the first game in this trilogy. Even back then I noticed how big the difference was between the final game and what the trailers implied it would be. Graphics were still really good though.

And where did I say my word is gospel?

Also when did Steam become a benchmark for games?

FF13 and FF15 were average in my opinion and I am not a minority.

Thats probably cause FF standards were so high previously.

Meh, but it makes sense somewhat. We are in 2024 and the 7th gen era kids are going to start getting nostalgia for their crap games. Next in line is an army of 2 remake I guess...

Only FF project they should be working on is a full scale remake of FFVI.

Finally someone said it. FF6 is the FF which needs a remake.

Add Chrono trigger to the list too.
