Yeah, sells 3 million on PS5 in a month, a fraction of that on PC and they want to "attract more gamers on different platforms". What platforms? Xbox won't sell half of what the PC did.

Maybe make better games. FFVIIR was a great game but XVI felt like they had no idea what they wanted the series to be.

XVI was initially felt like a giant step to the right direction, but then went 10 steps bback. However, the game is still good. PC gamers don't like console style games.

No you see if the game had launched day 1 then some people would have bought it on PC instead of PlayStation…. Which would’ve changed absolutely nothing.

These numbers are bad, but here's two things:

1 - The game released with pretty terrible performance optimization on PC, and AFAIK it still doesn't run on the Steam Deck despite that being promised at some point.

2 - It still hasn't gotten any discount since release. People who waited over a year to play it on the PC can probably wait another 3 months to buy it cheaper. Which is what I'm doing, to be honest.

If there is one game in particular where a late port won't work it's Final Fantasy XVI. We all played the demo and it was great, little did we know that it was the best part and the game plummets after that. If it was available at launch they would have scammed a few more people into buying but more than a year later it's impossible.

Off-topic but simple: JRPG don't sell on PC. PC is just another Xbox.
Then it will be simple for Sony to secure more exclusives jrpgs in the future. Looking forward to them.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance sold very well even after 2 years across platforms. Vanilla SMT V was exclusive to Nintendo Switch for 2 years...

Im not sure how on DQ and extra 2 mil i. Revenue ultimately changes the performance of that game or 10-15 mil on FF16. It was dragged through the mud for ps exclusivity which netted $200 mil in revenue in a week with marketing cost paid by PS.

I really dont see what PS sees in it now. Lego horizo has less than 1,000 concurrent so what does 10k copies do for them at 70% rip?
